Hermès Beauty’s Autumn-Winter 2026 Collection Finds Colour in the Far North
When the Cold Meets Colour
Winter beauty often gravitates towards deeper pigments, richer textures and a sense of understated drama. For its Autumn-Winter 2026 Limited Edition collection, Hermès Beauty takes a more evocative approach, looking towards the Far North for inspiration.
Rather than interpreting the season through colour alone, the collection explores contrast: the quiet expanse of frozen landscapes set against the vivid hues of homes that punctuate the snow. The result is a trio of lip products that brings together transparency, velvety intensity and satin luminosity, each offering a different expression of colour.
“Inspired by the deep cold and unique light of the Far North, the collection reflects the unexpected warmth of coloured houses set against vast, frozen landscapes,” explains Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty. “These timeless and invigorating lipsticks, each with a different finish, embody this meeting of cold and colour.”
It is this interplay that gives the collection its identity. Instead of treating winter as a single mood, Hermès Beauty considers how different textures and shades can evoke different sensations, from the subtle flush of a berry-tinted lip to the depth of a saturated Nordic red.
Collectible Tubes Inspired by an Arctic Landscape
At Hermès, the beauty object extends beyond what it holds. For this limited edition, the packaging becomes an interpretation of the landscape itself.
Designed by Pierre Hardy, creator of Hermès Beauty objects, the collectible tubes feature a palette of vibrant blue, red, pink, yellow and green against an immaculate white background. The colours recall isolated dwellings standing out against snow, creating a striking contrast between the purity of the setting and the energy of the architecture.
The design also draws on the raw beauty of torn paper, with its irregular edges and unexpected contours. These jagged lines evoke the relief of snowy glacier peaks, transforming the familiar silhouette of a lipstick case into a miniature landscape.
It is a thoughtful extension of the collection’s central idea: beauty can be expressive without being excessive. The packaging is visually distinctive, yet its inspiration remains rooted in the natural world and the colours found within it.
For collectors of luxury beauty, this makes the limited-edition tubes an important part of the experience, placing the objects themselves alongside the shades they contain.
Three Lip Colours, Three Different Sensations
The collection brings together one rosy lip shine enhancer and two Rouge Hermès lipsticks, one matte and the other satin. Each product approaches colour differently, allowing the same seasonal inspiration to move between sheer luminosity and more concentrated pigment.
Rose Hermès Rosy Lip Shine Enhancer in 38 Rouge Airelle
For those who prefer a lighter touch, Rose Hermès Rosy Lip Shine Enhancer in 38 Rouge Airelle offers a fruity red with subtle pink undertones.
Inspired by the appearance of a freshly picked berry, the shade creates a glossy veil of colour designed to give the lips a softly flushed, “bitten lip” effect. Its fine, imperceptible texture is inspired by the softness of Milo leather, gliding across the lips with a second-skin feel.
The formula combines white mulberry extract with sesame and raspberry seed oils, bringing make-up and lip care together in a single application. The result is intended to leave the lips feeling soft and comfortable while adding a delicate wash of colour.
Among the three products, Rouge Airelle offers the most transparent expression of the collection’s palette: fresh, understated and centred on the natural-looking radiance of the lips.
Rouge Hermès Matte Lipstick in 83 Rouge Scandinave
At the other end of the spectrum, Rouge Hermès Matte Lipstick in 83 Rouge Scandinave introduces a richer, more concentrated interpretation of red.
Inspired by the traditional colours of Scandinavia’s warm and welcoming wooden houses, the shade is described as an elegant Nordic red. Concentrated pigments deliver intense colour, while the velvety, powdery finish creates a softer visual effect than shine-led textures.
The formula is designed to provide a comfortable, moisturising feel alongside long-wear colour. White mulberry and sesame seed extracts contribute to lasting smoothness and hydration.
For those who favour a more defined lip, Rouge Scandinave offers a stronger statement within the collection, translating the vivid architecture of the Far North into a saturated shade.
Completing the trio is Rouge Hermès Satin Lipstick in 21 Rouge Épicé, a pink with hints of terracotta.
Described as an emblematic shade of Rouge Hermès, Rouge Épicé occupies a space between pink and earthy warmth. Its radiant satin finish brings luminosity to the colour, while a fine, melting texture is designed to leave the lips supple and comfortable.
The formula features white mulberry extract and an amino acid derivative to care for the lips.
Where Rouge Airelle leans towards transparency and Rouge Scandinave embraces intensity, Rouge Épicé offers a balance between colour and light. It is the collection’s satin interpretation of winter beauty, with a finish that brings a gentle radiance to the lips.
Beauty Objects Designed to Be Refilled
Beyond colour and packaging, the collection retains a practical consideration that adds to its appeal. Both the Rose Hermès and Rouge Hermès objects in the limited edition can be refilled with other shades from their respective permanent collections.
This means the collectible cases are not necessarily limited to a single shade or season. Once the original product is finished, the objects can continue to be used with compatible shades from the permanent lines.
The collection is also accompanied by two nail enamel shades from the permanent Les Mains Hermès range: 06 Rose Baltique and 85 Rouge H. These offer additional colour options for extending the collection’s expression beyond the lips.
Together, the lip products and nail shades establish a cohesive beauty palette without requiring every element to share the same finish or intensity.
A Winter Collection With a Distinctive Point of View
Hermès Beauty’s Autumn-Winter 2026 Limited Edition collection demonstrates how seasonal make-up can be shaped by more than colour trends. Its inspiration lies in the relationship between landscape, architecture and the emotional warmth that colour can bring to an otherwise stark setting.
The three lip products interpret that idea in different ways, moving from the transparent glow of Rouge Airelle to the saturated red of Rouge Scandinave and the satin luminosity of Rouge Épicé. Meanwhile, the collectible tubes translate the same contrast into objects that draw on the geometry and irregularity of the natural world.
The collection is scheduled to be available from August 2026 at selected Hermès retail outlets around the world. Availability may vary by location.
For those drawn to luxury beauty with a clear creative perspective, this limited edition offers a winter palette that finds its character not in the cold alone, but in the colour that stands out against it.
